Nombreuses sont sur les modillons les représentations de deux personnages enlacés ou se tenant les mains. Parfois il est possible d’y reconnaître deux femmes et donc une image de la Visitation. Mais dans bien des cas il est difficile de déterminer le sexe des protagonistes et, plus encore, d’interpréter l’image. Perse, commune d’Espalion (Aveyron), Eglise Saint-Hilarion, Modillon extérieur.
