The eel grass!

I know they are only plants, but I swear they were making gestures, even attempts at scratching something intelligible in the sand. Their graceful shadows surrounded me as I danced from image to image in the ocean’s breeze.

This project was photographed in the span of about two hours on November 8, 1996. It consists of 15 images.
