*** Rare undated reissue of the 1609 edition. Croll was an exponent of Paracelsus. The work is divided into three parts (a preface on the doctrines of Paracelsus, the main treatise on pharmacy and therapeutics and a treatise on signatures) and describes individual preparations and their applications in great detail.
