yama-bato: Mikumo Mokuhansha Untitled abstract (floating lanterns) “Little is known about the publisher Mikumo Mokuhansha.  He may have founded his company in January of 1942.  Whatever are the facts, Mikumo was a woodblock publisher in Kyoto in the mid 20th century.  It appears that he was able to copy the styles of other printmakers and publish his own unique work with the signature “Mikumo” in a wide variety of subjects and styles.  He also published prints for other artists such as textile designer Inagaki Toshijiro (1902-1963)” link
